Comic book fans: What is the difference between Green Hulk and Grey Hulk in Marvel comics??
I mean, besides the obvious difference in color. Is there a significant difference?
In the first issue, the Hulk was grey. Stan Lee wanted a color that did not suggest any particular ethnic group. Colorist Stan Goldberg, however, had problems with the grey coloring, resulting in different shades of grey, and even green, in the issue. Stan Lee picked the uncommon color, green, which is what the Hulk has been since then.
But to answer your question, the grey Hulk was first transformation for Bruce Banner after the Green Hulk, triggered by the rise and fall of the moon. This Hulk has the loweststrength because he is the most calm. His strength increases with rage, though at a slower rate than the Green Hulk. He is also the smallest of all the Hulk incarnations, though he is still much taller than most humans and still has considerably greater muscle mass. Although this transformation is the weakest, this Hulk is way more intelligent than the Green Hulk, and craftier/more cunning than Bruce Banner
