When Does Spiderman 4 Come Out
While all the casual fans of the Spider Man franchise have been asking each other the same question, “when does Spiderman 4 come out?” (The answer: where have you been, buddy? It’s slated for a May, 2011 release – hey, try and keep up, ‘k?), more news has emerged as to potential villains for the new movie.
One man we’re all dying to see take up a leading is role Burn Notice star Bruce Campbell (he plays Sam Axe on the show, Michael Westin’s buddy who “used to inform on him to the FBI” and refers to spies as a bunch of bitchy little girls). Since he is good friends with Spider Man franchise director Michael Rami, he has played a cameo in every single one of the Spidey films to date. However, at the red carpet opening for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, he talked with Access Hollywood about the newest Spidey epic and let slip that he may be playing a more substantial role in this newest film.
The blogosphere has been in full gear since Campbell’s announcement and has been fitting him for different roles even before the news becomes official (and you though the only question to be asked was “when does Spiderman 4 come out?”).
One of the roles that many fans are eager to see Campbell play is Mysterio. Mysterio has actually been three separate characters in the Spidey franchise’s comic book run.
He began life as Quentin Beck, a Hollywood special effects man extraordinaire (think F/X the movie) and moved on to become a super villain when he realized his knowledge of illusion could make him an extremely effective criminal. He first appeared in the Spideyverse in the Amazing Spider Man #13 and quickly began to torment our human spider. Arrested several issues later, he taught his cell mate, Daniel Berkhart some of his tricks and when he got out, Mysterio was reborn in the person of Mr. Berkhart.
Mysterio showed up once more in Friendly Neighborhood Spider Man # 11-13 in the person of an evil mutant named Francis Klum. He was royally peeved at Peter Parker and Spiderman for the events in the comic story “The Evil that Men Do” and decided to take revenge by turning the school Parker taught in into a haunted house.
So will Bruce Campbell play Mysterio? We don’t know yet, but what we do know is the answer to your nagging question, “when does Spiderman 4 come out?” The answer: May 5, 2011.

Amazing spiderman vol 1 issue 315?
I would just like to know why amazing spider man vol 1 issue 315, is credited as Todd Macfarlane’s first marvel issue? And what is meant by the term white pages?
ASM #315 is definitely not Todd McFarlane’s first Marvel issue. It’s not even his first ASM issue, as that was #298. His first Marvel work was on issue #11 of a book called Coyote, and his first significant Marvel run was on the Incredible Hulk with Peter David (Todd’s first issue was #330). The main significant thing about ASM #315 is that it features the return of Venom (after his debut in #298-300).
White pages means that the book’s pages have not turned yellow with age.
