Looks like a lot to me. Are there more editions? I’m confused. Please explain.
The Talmud is various books- it is divided into six seders (orders) which ae in turn divided up into 37 masechtot (tractates) (singular- masechta). This follows the order of the Mishnah, but the Talmud does not cover all the masechtot of the Mishnah (the Mishnah has 63 masechtot).
There are many different editions- though in the modern era the most common layout is the “Vilna edition) but even that comes in mulitple publicaitons- I have seen the Talmud in anything from a 6 volume Hebrew set, to the 73 volume Artscroll translation. Depending on the font, commentaries, layout etc the varying editions vary greatly in size
