Become a Spider-Man ('Spiderman'), will face the evil that stalks the city at night, and during the day in front of an adolescent problems, including problems of love for Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst) who is dating his friend Harry Osborn (James Franco), but which in turn is the son of his most powerful enemy, Norman Osborn (Willem Dafoe), who became his Green Goblin's alter ego, intended to kill him.

But a storm brewing on the horizon. When his suit suddenly changes, turning jet-black and enhancing his powers, it transforms Peter. Under the influence of the suit, are the pride and overconfidence Peter and starts to neglect the most worried about him. Although two of the most feared villains, Sandman and Venom, gather unparalleled power gain and thirst for retribution, Peter's greatest battle is against yourself. Spider-Man will have to rediscover the compassion that makes it what it is: a hero.
