Did you have any strange adventures?
I failed my first year of med school and feel pretty crap. I decided to something fun and unlike me so I got on the main road up to a party beach and stuck out my thumb. I hitched a ride with a woman and her friend and her friends boyfriend. We had laughs on the way up until 2 hours later. We realised we should of been there about a nearly an hour earlier. Looking at a map, we’ve taken the wrong path at the fork in the road over an hour ago… We’re in the middle of native bush and its nearly 5. A sign for a campground comes up and so we decide to check it out. We rock up and its full, we have a little food break before setting off again, then we meet a young couple wanting directions to a nice place to pitch a tent. The womans friend has been somewhere cool before by a river with her family before and decide to let them follow us up to the spot just going on this girls memory. We find the river and another spot. Its close to a wildlife thing so this couple decide to set up camp. Its now 8pm and we dont wanna drive on windy counrty roads in the dark so the couple invite us to stay with them. So i end up crammed in this tent. Well not really crammed. there were a couple of rooms which was cool. We made smores and had songs. We made a bit of noise and some teenagers whose parents own the wildlife place come down and hang. We have a few drinks and I naturally become buddies with the chick who was single. Now we’re married and I scrapped medicine for my passion – graphic design (she made me see that i should do what i love). We’ve been camping agian since (neither of us used to do it before). Soon we’ll be going on our honeymoon to India (bit delayed due to finanncial probs) but we never ended going up to that beach. We’ve found new outdoor hobbies and are having the times of our lives.
